Minister Karen Struthers launches A Fair Queensland at the BHSC: The BHSC welcomed Minister Struthers speaking on behalf of the Bligh government for 'A Fair Queensland' which is committed to supporting a sustainable social services sector and working together to achieve our ambition for a fair Queensland. It means everyone has a fair chance through access to a good standard of living and the services communities need.

You may be eligible for affordable housing for low income families and individuals through the Queensland Government. For more information, see the Queensland Government’s Housing and Homelessness Services website.

You could also try private rental or share accommodation - a good place to start is your local paper or realestate.com.au

If you find housing, you may also be eligible for assistance with a bond through a Bond Loan and your first two weeks rent with a Rental Grant.
